Written by on July 16, 2022

Panda Bear has announced a new album with Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom. Reset arrives August 12, and its Troggs-sampling single “Go On” is out now. Watch James Siewert’s video below.

The longtime partnership between Panda Bear and Sonic Boom, whose real name is Peter Kember, dates back to Panda Bear’s 2011 album Tomboy. Before that, Panda Bear had thanked Spacemen 3 in the liner notes to his breakout album Person Pitch.

A dollar from each CD and LP sale goes to Earthisland.org, an environmental nonprofit. Domino Mart is releasing a limited-edition yellow vinyl of the record, and an extra 500 translucent pink LPs are on sale via Bandcamp, with $10 going towards MAPS, a nonprofit researching and developing psychedelic therapies as a form of mental health treatment.
