The dubstep don Excision is back with one more release in 2022, teaming up with Jessica Audiffred to quench the thirst of bass listeners with a new anthem alongside Leah Culver on vocals. While in the midst of her Ryoko tour across North American, Jessica Audiffred brings her sonic timeline full circle over three years later after her back-to-back at Bass Canyon the Subsidia Records.

“Rise” marks the first musical crossover between Excision and Jessica Audiffred, and the pair tapped Leah Culver, who has a rich history of releases with the latter on top of having an overall impressive-singer-songwriter discography. As the founder of Subsidia Records, Excision has continually ushered in an unprecedented era of underground dubstep to the forefront of the dance music community, and “Rise” is what label devotees have been craving. With multiple festivals and tour performances on the horizon for both Jessica Audiffried and Excision, this collaboration will more than likely become a set staple as the calendar turns towards 2023. Audiffried shared a message along with the release of “Rise,” explaining,

“Being able to collaborate on a song with Jeff (Excision) is really special to me, as he has been one of my earliest supporters dating back to when he invited me on stage for a B2B at Bass Canyon 2019. Since then, I’ve always wanted to produce a song with him. It is an honor to work with such talented artists like Leah and Jeff in making this record. The track itself is so special with the live guitars and an incredibly powerful and meaningful message within the lyrics. I can’t wait for the world to hear it!”
